How to use Tools and Transformations

Mirror

Use the mirror tool to create a mirrored copy of any sketch or objects.

Revolve

You can revolve wires, faces or entire groups over a selected axis.

Rotate

Rotate any shape along a linear edge.

Transform

Use the Free Transform to transform any object in Shapr3D.

Translate

Use this tool to translate objects.

Union

Merge objects and groups with this tool.

Shell

Remove parts of an object with the shell tool.

Subtract

Subtract any object from another with this tool.

Offset

Use this tool to create an offset of any closed sketch.

Loft

Use loft to connect multiple faces.

Sweep

Use this tool to sweep a profile along a spline.

Copy Paste

Easily copy-paste sketches or objects using the freeform transform tool.

Fuse

With the Fuse function you can combine (union) multiple solids together.

Intersect

With the Intersect function, you are able to create a 3D solid from the common volume of two or more existing 3D solids.

Subtract

With the Subtract function, you can create a 3D solid by subtracting existing 3D solids from another, if they have an overlap.
