Shapr3D Gamma at its core is a limited-access community for verifying the usability, performance and stability of our Shapr3D production app before it is released to all of our users. Signup is open for the public, but participants are filtered for relevant industry professionals, so their feedback can be incorporated into our development process with the appropriate weight.
Yes, participation is free, furthermore, members of the Gamma community have access to all features of Shapr3D, even those included in our Pro tier.
In addition to gaining free access to all features of Shapr3D, Gamma members get to try features still unavailable to the public, obtain insider knowledge through directly interacting with our engineers, and shape ongoing development through providing feedback. Additionally, they have the chance to win valuable prizes by participating in tailor-made challenges and competitions exclusive to the community.
If you are already an active user of the Shapr3D production app, not much more. Professional usage of the application for at least 3 hours on a weekly basis, and active participation in providing feedback about new development is all that’s required.
The builds submitted to the group are 99% of the stability of the production app. Little tweaks are still possible, but usually nothing major is expected at this stage.
